Terrific Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was without a microwave for 3 weeks during the holiday season, and I was so happy to find a replacement. It is the same size and wattage which was a big benefit. The installation was seamless. No issues to report !

A MISTAKE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed with this microwave! The preset buttons are not useful. For example: defrosting a piece of poultry at .3 lbs doesn't defrost at all. Need to reset at a higher weight & still doesn't entirely defrost! Similar to the "reheat" button with the different food selections. Another example: I put a small potato to cook, it was still hard when time ended. Repeated as a large potato & it smoked my whole apartment!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Came with the house

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came with the house. It's part of a matching set of appliances installed by the builder. We really like this microwave. My only complaint is that it doesn't have the "one touch" feature that our GE had but it does have the "+30sec" feature so we make do.

Excellent Microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked for a microwave for awhile before deciding on this Whirlpool. We wanted one that had the metal insert in case we didn't want to use the revolving glass for something. Many microwaves no longer include that additional metal shelf. Also, the size is perfect, and we wanted the control panel to be on the right side of the microwave, not on the lower part of the door. Lastly, this Whirlpool cooks/heats exactly how a microwave should. So, we're happy we bought this!!
