Cooks OK - Not Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced 20-year-old Whirlpool appliances as part of a package. Very little has changed. There are some issues that make me want my old Microwave back: The black keypad is hard to read unless you're up close. The light inside the oven barely helps visibility. The light under the oven just lights the wall. (Many others have complained.) The hood fan inlet should be closer to the wall. The outlet exhausts up across the face of my wooden cabinets. I had to go online to find the correct operating instructions. Every appliance I recently purchased had the same issue and some of the answers were not even on Whirlpools website. The fingerprint resistant finish is hard to clean. It would be nice to have a programmable finished tone because it is the same as my other whirlpool appliances and causes confusion.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would it ever be possible to silence the finished/reminder beeps but leave the touchpad beeps in place? Would it be possible to adjust volume?
The fan while the microwave is running is a bit loud.

Beautiful microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful cooking machine. The features are amazing and make warming up or cooking food a snap. I am slowly upgrading all appliances in my kitchen and this was my first one to add. Glad to have the extra counter space.

There should be 2 light under the microwave. Not enough light when cooking on the stove. I like the special interior cleaning feature.
