Mounting Bracket too flimsy and not tall enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have no issues with the performance of the microwave, but I do have an issue with the mounting bracket that was provided. The microwave that I replaced lasted for many years, but it finally died and I took it down. It had a sturdy steel mounting bracket the same size as the back of the microwave. You could put the screws in many different places, making it easy to ensure it would hold if certain places were inconvenient for screws; however, the new microwave had a very small and fragile mounting bracket, with very limited places you could mount it with screws. Fortunately I had two studs I could screw into, but I still need to mount both ends of the bracket with toggle bolts. I tried to mount them but they both failed to tighten down. So I needed alternate screw holes near the ends and a solid surface underneath to use regular screws. Found two holes in the bracket somewhat near the ends, but I worried that the plywood was only 3/8" thick and the large holes for the toggle bolts could cause failure of the nearby alternate screw holes in the bracket. I recommend you provide a much larger and sturdier mounting bracket to give you more places to ensure a solid mounting of the bracket.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
