Another Great Whirlpool Appliance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this microwave almost a month ago and couldn’t be happier with
it. We shopped by the features we wanted and this unit has them all. After bringing it home we read the reviews online and we have not experienced ANY of the negative comments/complaints that others wrote about. The fan is not very loud and we LOVE the way it melts butter for pouring over popcorn. Speaking of popcorn it pops a bag perfectly without burning it and there have always been fewer than 8 unpopped kernels in a bag.
We would recommend this model to anyone who would ask about a microwave.

Cooks Very Well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooks great and cleaning up is a breeze. My only concern is the vent. I would have given the product 5 stars if the vent worked corrected. As such, when I cook, the steam rises and creates a ridiculous amount of condensation. I turn on the fan on high before cooking but it doesn't work. it gets ridiculous to the point that I drape a hand towel over the microwave door. Not sure if the builder (who installed the unit) correctly installed the vent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this microwave a year and half ago and of course after the 1 year warranty is expired, I am having issues. It is throwing sparks on all 4 corners where the rack sits and has left burn marks all over the inside.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave works perfectly. I love the profile of the rotator - it's lower than most microwaves so it never gets bumped off its track as we use it. It also looks great in our kitchen. It's also very quiet.

Awesome Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love, love, love my microwave. It has several great features and its smudge proof. With all the kids in my house; this is one of the many features that I love about my microwave. It also helps my son - who has Autism - use the quick buttons to cook his own food - Frozen Entree, Vegetable, Potato. Ironically 2 of these buttons are what he like to eat/cook; so that was great to see. He knows those words and we don't have to remind him how to cook his food or have the sequence cards out for him. He also loves the beep sound which is different than our old Whirlpool microwave and lets him know his food is ready. He said it sounds like music. So, thank you Whirlpool. Now if you could only put a programmed lock option on your refrigerator doors; so parents who have a child with a disability or not be able to lock the doors when you have a child that loves, OJ, Milk and any flavor juice and will drink it all day. ( -: or for kids who constantly go in the refrigerator and slam it - not on purpose - or leave the door open. We Moms can just lock it.. You have a locked programmed so the features can't be changed; why not this.
