[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We first bought this product 17 years ago when we built our home. The new microwave is replacing the old one. There are several difference such as this one is much lighter as we were able to pick it up and put it in the space without much effort. More effort was required to take the old one out of the space. It was easy to install and directions are included. The rack is positioned lower in the microwave and is not as well made as the old one. Little change is noted with the area where the settings are located. The only negative was that there were several scratches on the front of the microwave when we took the wrapping off it. We hope that it lasts as long or longer than the last one as that one did us well.

Perfect Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this microwave @ 2 years ago to replace a 12 year old Whirlpool Gold that with lots of use finally stopped working. This unit does everything the old one did and more! Looks great and works perfectly!

Love the chime on the microwave

Nice OTR Nuke...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace my 20-year-old GE that died. It has a very large internal cavity with non-stick walls. So far, I have been very happy with it. I have four minor quibbles, however:
1) The auto nite-light feature will not work if the clock is set to "military time." It will only work if set to 12 hour mode. Annoying- and weird.
2) On the subject of the auto nite-light, it always turns on in BRIGHT mode, not dim. It should be the other way around.
3) I wish the buzzer were louder.
4) It does not have an "express cooking" mode, where you tap 1 for one minute, 2 for two minutes, etc., and the oven just starts without necessitating multiple key sequences. I guess that was just a "GE thing."
Other than those things, it is a very nice oven!

Quality not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I use the automatic setting for baked potatoes, the sensor did not work and luckily I stopped the machine in time before the potatoes caught on fire. So now I’m afraid to use any of the preset settings because I don’t think they work right and I’m afraid that the microwave will be ruined. I had a repair man come out and look at it and he said it was OK but I still don’t trust it. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does the job perfectly
