This microwave and I are NOT off to a great start!

This model replaces a much-used Whirlpool model from 13 yrs. ago that suddenly died. That one performed flawlessly the entire time and had comparable features. That was why I only considered the Whirlpool brand as a replacement.
Here I am less than 3 weeks of ownership and I have a service call in for a faulty humidity sensor (error code F4E4).
PROS:
--Lots of functions to melt butter, reheat, defrost, etc. as you cycle thru the buttons.
--Ease of installation as template matched previous model’s bracket on the wall.

CONS:
--HATE the end-of-function musical tone. Unless you are nearby it cannot be heard (and I wear hearing aids).
--No ability to raise the volume. Although there are many other functions you can customize (tones and vent timer on/off, clock visible/invisible, etc.) apparently changing the volume did not seem too important to the designers of this model.
--When your heating function ends, you have to add another step and hit CANCEL rather than having the door opening cancel your task--or you get a continuous message scrolling.

--The cooktop light is set too far back. Yes, too much shadow to be effective for cookpot on front burner.

Nice microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking for a cheaper option to replace our failing built-in microwave. This one is very nice with plenty of options for basic microwaving needs. Perfect for us at a great price! Others have said the fan is too loud...its just like every other vent fan and it's got 3 levels which is more than our last one. Or the ending beep is annoying? Actually sounds like our washer and dryer so it's fine to me, lol. So far, so good!
I would recommend this to a friend!

* it fails with humidity sensor error (most of the errors, the sensor was already replaced but the error still occurs);
* it loose power every half a second;
* it goes off until hard reset;
* stops without any error.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good microwave. Spacious interior. No sharp edges on the inside, so it is very easy to keep clean. Reheat is a little complicated compared to other manufacturer's one-touch reheat. I would have liked one-touch numbers where if you just press '2', it immediately starts on high for two minutes. While attractive, the blue display makes the clock difficult to read from across the kitchen - should have used white.
