[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave that I replaced actually blew the magnetron. It was 15 years old and it too was a Whirlpool. I have a over the range model and it is vented out the roof. I was concerned that the new microwave would require alterations to the cabinet or venting. That was not the case. The new microwave went in like a breeze and all the connections lined up. We love the new microwave and would buy a Whirlpool again.

Trim peeled/cracked after 4 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I realize it may not be the high end, but for the trim to crack and peel on its own is not what I expect. Not covered under warranty due to it being cosmetic and doesn’t effect the operation of the microwave. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with my Whirlpool microwave. It has concise controls, cooks well, is easy to clean, and is working perfectly. I especially like the easy-to-clean interior. The only thing I am not really satisfied with is the nature of the sound made when the cooking cycle is complete. I know that it is designed to get one's attention, and that is good, but it is not a pleasant sound. I have other Whirlpool appliances and am happy with all of them. Keep up your standards of quality and thank you.
