[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this microwave 6 months ago and have had trouble with it making a loud fanning noise. Service guy came and said he would have to order a fan part and may take a long time to get it. So been without a microwave until we bought a small cheap Magic Chef counter top to use while we wait and so far it is doing a better job than the our Whirlpool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this microwave to replace the GE Profile microwave that bit the dust after less then 5 years...this Whirlpool is so much better over all, cooks a lot quicker and the inside is so easy to keep clean too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Microwave as a recommendation from my son. I like all the features but would recommend a slight modification on future models. This is obviously designed to be installed over a stove unit. My previous microwave had lights on the left and right side of the underside of the unit so all burners were illuminated on the stove. This unit has one light installed on the rear of the underside of the machine providing light to just the two back burners. Future modifications to include another light fixture towards the front of the unit or changing the location of the lighting and put a light bar on the left and right sides of the underside would be a great improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace a 13-yr-old whirlpool microwave. The new microwave was familiar in function and button locations so we didn’t have to learn how to operate this one. My only knock on this new one is tones aren’t as loud so the timer isn’t of much value to me. Other than that, I expect this one to perform as well as the last.
