Great Microwave

Initially wasn't sure which microwave to get & turns out this is exactly what we needed. I did the research on the comparable and this Whirlpool was my top pick. It’s easy to use and program. It has cool sounds when the time is up. I am very happy with my purchase.

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Paid extra to get a nicer model to replace our Whirlpool that was having more and more issues. Lo and behold, almost immediately, our new one started having one of those issues. So disheartening. Plus, suddenly the controls changed the way they work, and no longer make sounds. The oven works fine when it works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Microwave

Install Issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and installed myself. While it is a nice microwave, I feel the light is too dim as compared to my previous microwave, causing the stove area to be darker than before. In addition, mounting hardware was not included and the mounting bracket did not fit the microwave or match the instruction template. I had to get my own mounting hardware and modify the bracket to fit the microwave. Good thing I am handy.

Poor Lighting but Decent Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When replacing our microwave I specifically looked for a model that would illuminate the stove top - this model has very poor lighting. I had to use a flashlight to check the browning of ground beef. The microwave oven portion of the unit is satisfactory.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
