Love the look

Better than the Competition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have purchased 3 GE Microwaves in the past 6 years. This new Whirlpool is far superior to all of them for the same cost. I love the Black SS finish and it is much easier to keep clean. I will be looking into more Whirlpool appliances going forward

Looks nice but had 2 problems right out of the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like Whirlpool brand and is one of top choices when it comes time to buy a new appliance. I was excited to replace my 13 years old Whirlpool microwave when it suddenly stopped heating with a newer model. Unfortunately we were disappointed. As soon as we installed it, we noticed that the vent fan does not come on when we had it on high or medium. It would only come on on low. A couple of days later, we slowly started to notice that the food was not heating up as quickly as our old microwave and we would have to add twice as much time to the cooking/heating time compared to our older microwave. We called it in, had someone come and check it out and we have now been waiting for the parts to arrive. Very annoying.
Whirlpool, what happened to quality control?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
