Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two things about it I don’t like. 1. The light isn’t bright enough. And the silver lining doesn’t help. 2. The turntable doesn’t stop at the same place after 10 second intervals. My last microwave would stop with your coffee cup handle at the same place you put it after each 10 second interval. Otherwise it’s okay. It also doesn’t have a pause button. I know that if you keep opening the door while it’s running to pause it, it will burn out the door switch. My son has one of these and he had to have it fixed and the service man said all the power runs through the door switch and opening it keeps arcing the switch until it burns out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I selected this Whirlpool microwave oven. I especially like the Soften/Melt feature. It allows me to soften butter and cream cheese for baking without spending the time to let them set out at room temperature. My husband and I really like the soften ice cream feature. Who doesn't like soft ice cream?

Good microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using this microwave for 1 year and haven’t had any issues with it. The sensor cooking features work well and the surfaces are easy to clean. I find the blue display harder to read from across the room compared to other colors. No complaints other than that.

We purchased this microwave after reading the high rating in Consumer Reports. The only disappointment is that it does not have one touch controls. For the price, I would expect it to have that feature.
