Replacing over the range microwave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 1989 Whirlpool microwave with a new Whirlpool microwave. I thought I might get by without having to drill new holes in the bottom of the cabinet above the cabinet. No such luck as the cord hole and bolt holes have changed over 31 years.
A holesaw and drill took care of that problem.
I built a support shelf to make it easy removing old microwave and installing the new unit.

Microwave is great / smooth open & close!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A microwave is a microwave. They all heat up food. In selecting our microwave, we were looking for one that had a smooth open / close handle use. This met our criteria after opening and closing MANY microwaves at the store. The only downfall of this microwave is the finish. It was advertised as a finger resistant one and boy, does it show fingerprints if you don't wipe it daily.
I would recommend this to a friend!
