No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a 10 year old Samsung that quit. It looks nice, is intuitive to use. I wish you could change the signal it uses for when the cooking is over. It seems less powerful than the microwave it replaced.
