Terrible ventilation, easy staining

This is the model that came with the new build I purchased about a year and a half ago. In that time, sure it works, but not without its issues.
as an under-cabinet unit, its most common expected use is that of one over a range to take advantage of the vent. This, even properly vented, fails to capture nearly anything, you can nether feel any pressure nor see almost any smoke/steam etc moving into it while cooking even on a high setting. It basically does nothing.
Not only that, but its surface is obnoxious to clean, probably in part due to how poor the ventilation is, all the gunk from the cooktop reaches those upper cabinets and the surface of it.
In addition, even the under-microwave light broke within a year.
Awful experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not really impressed by this microwave. It does not have a pause feature so should you want to turn/ check your item half way, you have to hit cancel, stir/ check, and then reset the timer. When I called customer service the person I spoke to had to put me on hold and ask a “higher up” who said to just open the door, check the item and hit start so the timer would not have to be reset. This action can cause arcing and my electrician said to avoid this practice. When reheating casseroles, the sensing feature tends to overcook the item. So, no actual pause feature even though it was on the list of features, and its sensing feature overcooks. Liked my old GE Profile much better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Saturated inside and burnt easily,not working now

Whirlpool poor warranty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this new microwave when I bought my house. It came with a year warranty. It broke after 10 months and then I contacted whirlpool to claim warranty. They sent in a third party (Advanced Appliance) to pick it up for fix. Its been almost 2 months now but they havent sent the microwave back yet. I have called them several times but everytime they are working on it. I had to buy another smaller microwave because i am still not sure when i get my microwave back. Terrible warranty service by whirlpool.

Microwave without Range Vent would be great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a New construction home. This appliance was selected by the Builder. The Microwave on its own is easy use and has many fine features. The Vent for the Range below is incorporated under the Microwave. The Vent/exhaust system is inadequate. It draws up the exhaust enough at full speed to cover underneath, back and front of the cabinet door above. I have to wipe down my cabinets after every cooked meal.
