Powerful but shoddy build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this microwave to replace a seventeen year old Whirlpool that performed great for many years. The build and fit of this one is nowhere the quality of the old one. Each time you press a button on the control panel the metal front moves and makes an irritating metal on metal noise. The oven power and ability to heat evenly is acceptable, but not as good as my old oven when it was fifteen years old. Unit is just not the quality that Whirlpool is known for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Microwave
