[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this model to replace one we had for 13 years, also a Whirlpool, same size overall. I really like the new black stainless outside and more heavy duty handle. I do not like the change in control panel, light button hard to use and used to be able to get simple cooking times like 1 to 5 minutes just by pushing 1 or 2 or 3, etc., now you have to push 100 start or 200 start for simple cook times, lost some functionality there. Also, the previous model had 2 lights underneath to light up the stove top while cooking, one on each side, but this model only has 1 light in the back by the wall that mostly lights up the stove controls and not the cooking area, very disappointing change, one of the major reasons to have an overtherange microwave. Really good price though, made it worth it. I hope this one lasts another 13 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this as part of a kitchen suite, replacing a non working microwave. Reheating food with the sensor heats the food too long, making it too hot.

It looks great since. it’s the same company as my old one which was a Maytag so it installed easily. The only two things I need to get used to are the brightness level inside the microwave too low and the chime on the timer not long enough if your off doing something you might not hear it
