[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new Whirlpool steam microwave. Very large, easy to clean interior. Steam function stops dried out foods especially breads and baked cooks. User friendly touch pad.

When cooking on the stovetop if the steam becomes to much the fan adjust speeds on it own. Cooks food great with presets that are also user friendly and has two cook spots available. My son uses it for popcorn and the presets for that are near perfect. In addition to the microwave i purchased the dishwasher and am currently waiting on the matching range to arrive but sadly could not afford the refrigerator, but i think i know a company that can #whirlpool. Thanks for the great product.

Love it all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and love that it matches my black whirlpool fridge (I am in the minority who doesn't love stainless). The blue numbers also match my existing range (sorry, not a whirlpool). All the features and the look is absolutely perfect. However, I will say, I assumed it had the same finish on it that the fridge does and it does not. The fridge has some clear coat or something that just does not show fingermarks. Its quite impressive as you expect black to show every little mark. The microwave does not have that, but nothing a can't fix with a microfiber towel. Otherwise it is absolutely perfection and looks so classy in my kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This microwave came with our new house and I will be replacing it as soon as possible. The quick reference guide is useless and the user manual I had to track down online was just as bad. What power is reheat or cook or soften or melt or defrost? Is 50 percent power 500 watts? I wanted to defrost some waffles I had previously made. I can't choose defrost for a minute. I have to guess if four waffles are the equivalent of.2 lbs. of fish or meat? I went with quick defrost and stopped it after less than two minutes and had soggy, hot waffles. What power was this on? I wanted to defrost them to put in the toaster. Isn't there somewhere I can get information on the power and time for these settings? I am thinking that I will need to get some paper and white down the amount of time for every setting to reference. And then guess what the power level is? As it is, this microwave has only two buttons of use to me ...time and power. Pretty basic for a fancy microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Thrilled ...

Bought this 4 months ago. It has plenty of options to cook and most work. Heats faster with the 30 second button than old microwave. However, a major flaw is the control panel. It scratches everytime I clean it. Had it replaced once thinking it came that way from the store. It didn't ... it's a cheap plastic and even using a soft microcloth produces thousands of tiny scratches that you can see when the light is shining on it. Very unsightly. I'm very unhappy about it. The sound is also ridiculous. It is so low that unless you are standing in the kitchen you cannot hear it. And there is no way to turn it up. Would not purchase again nor recommend.

Condensation in the microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Condensation filled up the microwave while cooking rice. I needs a cloth towel to soak up the water. In all my years I never had this problem. I cooked the rice the same way in the same bowl. The water was dripping from the ceiling and water pooled on the bottom.
