We got this with our brand new house. It lasted 3 years. Ridiculous that appliances only last a few years.

Fan too loud

Great purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased our MW just short of a month ago, and so far it is working very well. We are very happy with it. We did use a handyman to install it for us.
The only thing that could make it better would be if it gave off a nice solid "thump" when we close the door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks Good…Works Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our old Whirlpool microwave with this one. It fit perfectly and matches our existing Whirlpool appliances nicely. I like some of the features such as Soften/Melt for butter stored in the fridge. Reheat and Popcorn is also nice. I like the happy sound it makes when it completes its cycle. Not at all like the loud, rude buzz from the previous model. Haven’t tried the Steam/Simmer with the metal rack feature but it looks like it will be convenient to use. I still have much to explore! My only issue so far is being able to do a quick 1, 2, 3+ minutes like the old microwave. Overall, I would recommend.

Bought this microwave about 2 years ago as a replacement and it is showing the same error code ( door not shut) as the one we replaced it with. 2 microwaves in 5 years.. do not recommend especially for the price.

Design problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not quite right. Tha bottom frame did not fit tight and let light from the main bottom light shine thru a frame opening. Quite disturbing, so a temporary fix was applied the next day, and a new lower frame was ordered and installed with some gasket tape a few weeks later. All is well and satisfactory.

Poor Quality!

Poor quality. Doen't last. The bulb is halogen, but hardly lasted one year. The microwave is on it's own circuit and constantly kicked the breaker. I wouldn't recommend Whirlpool at all based on this experience. Just another version of a product cranked out as fast as possible for the most profit. Doesn't care about customers who purchased their poor quality product.
