Steam coming out of the Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased a new house and the over the range microwave came with, I love the microwave it heats food very well, however, there's steam coming out from the top, and I don't think this is normal, it is affecting my top cabinets, I have to wipe my cabinets down quite often because it would get wet from the steam. Is the top of the microwave supposed to be open?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model has advanced sensing features that control cook times automatically. Mo more guessing over run times or over heating and wasting energy. The extra shelf allows for cooking more items at once. The steamer makes better tasting vegetables too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is definitely an upgrade to the builder installed whirlpool from 10 years ago. The only issue I have is the shelf really just gets in the way. I think the only thing it’s really for is heating two plates of food at a time but a cup won’t fit under it so it has to stay out most of the time. Otherwise it’s a good unit no problems so far.
