Satisfactory Replacement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to replace my original appliance because the company discontinued a replacement part for it. This replacement is in many ways inferior to my original appliance. It seems to cook more slowly and both the interior and exterior lights are very dim. I do not like the interior color because it doesn't show stains immediately requiring daily cleaning to assure cleanliness.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wire shelf is in the way, too low, can’t even put a coffee mug on the rotating tray below the wire shelf. Defrost setting is too long for meats, not enough options

Easy to Use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this roughly 3 weeks ago and have used it everyday since. It does what it states it should do and I find it on the whole a good purchase. Only a couple of things I would like to give as constructive feedback for some design changes in the future. If you put in a large bowl on the turn style, you have to take the metal shelf out. It would have been nice to have higher holders inside the unit to house the metal shelf to avoid removing it all the time. Also, nowhere can I find the wattage on this unit or documentation.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Marginally acceptable

Initial impressions:
Sloppy assembly: The right side was not clipped in properly, resulting in an 1/8" bulged out gap on the right side. I had to remove dozens of screws to get it properly re-assembled.
LCD panel: The viewing angle is too narrow. I have to skooch down to eye level to read it when making settings.
Control panel marking: These comments apply to the biscuit color. There is not enough contrast between the background and the markings, making it very difficult to read. I have to keep a flashlight nearby to read panel markings.

Exhaust fan: There is no way to turn the fan ON and OFF when desired other than to go through a half dozen steps in the options setup.
Lighting: It comes with a 40 watt incandescent bulb with a warning to not substitute an LED bulb. What a stupid waste of electricity, especially when used as a night light for the kitchen! Also, I also do not like the orange color temperature of the emitted light, much preferring the white color temperature of a daylight LED. It would also have been better if the light had been located more toward the front so as to provide better illumination for the entire cooktop. I have replaced every incandescent and fluorescent light in the house with LEDs and was very much surprised to see a recently manufactured product continuing to use incandescents.
Sound Settings: I was hoping that it would give an option to emit a single beep. Instead you get that annoying little ditty repeated multiple times with the only option being to turn it ON or OFF. Incidently, it's labeled incorrectly. When set to ON, it's actually OFF and vice versa. Also, it is not clear to me what the difference is between ON and ALL SOUNDS ON.
I bought this unit because of it's preponderance of high reviews and the color, despite many reported issues with product reliability. Unfortunately, I am very much disappointed with the product design and workmanship I would return it were it not installed. Sensor cooking works OK, but I'm not impressed with those functions and will probably continue to guess at timing and power level. It's the way I've used microwaves since forever and it's been effective.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had run-arounds from your warranty department. Your distributer JBHunt, installed a dented microwave or dented it during installation. I notified the builder who notified you. You have denied knowing about it and are refusing to replace it. Not destined to be a repeat customer and will most likely become an active unhappy customer.

Not bad for an over-the- range microwave.
