Its choices of spin cycles for the different types and sizes of clothes or loads. We have had to use it while our place was being re plumbed and water heater being replaced all the hot water pipes andwith just cold water it handle any clothes we threw in it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the easy to clean detergent tray, and that once the cycle begins we can barely hear it in the next room. The only less than stellar part of the washer is that when you put some loads on the "heavy" wash, loads can take up to an hour and 45 minutes. We haven't figured out a way to reduce that time for those selections. Other than that, though, it has been a great machine!

Happy with the washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its hard to get excited about a washing machine. Its a washing machine. The controls and use of this machine are straight forward and easy to use. The dispensers are easy to fill and use, the various settings make sense and the filter - trap is easy to access. The last LG worked great for 12-13 years. I hope to get the same long reliable life from this unit. BTW -- the wife has not noticed or commented on the 4.3 cubic feet versus 4.5 on the old unite.
