Great birthday gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mermaid Barbie has it all. She can be used In the bathtub in the pool and complete with a light up tail. My daughter loves takeing a bath with her.

Batteries became waterlogged

We purchased this for my 4 year old daughter as a present for finishing swim lessons and had only been using it for a day when the batteries stopped working. Upon removing the back of the doll I found the batteries leaking acid and water in the back. This in incredibly disappoint considering the way this toy is marketed.
Cons: Low quality, not actually tolerant
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a few mermaid doll, but this is by far the most entertaining. The fact that it's made for the water makes it different than the others. The colors are bright and the lights make the doll really stand out. We have used this doll during bath time and it makes it fun!
Pros: unique barbie

Mermaid love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My three year old loves this. Everything works like it's supposed to and my daughter loves her beautiful hair. She can't wait to take her mermaid to the splash pads this summer. The only thing I don't like is how the water sensors on the back look. They're large and distracting.

Begging for Bathtime!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have a kiddo who protests bathtime like I do, hurry to the store and pick up one of these Barbies. My three year old daughter is now begging for a bath EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.
This mermaid Barbie is for real THE coolest. Outside of the water she is beautiful, but in the water she is AMAZING. If you keep moving her around in the water, her tail just keeps flashing and blinking and being cool. My daughter likes to have the bathroom light off when she's playing with Barbie, so she can see her tail light up the whole bath! Her tail is really great for splashing, too.
The only downside is that Barbie's hair seems to come out really easily in the water. My daughter hasn't even attempted to comb her hair, it just comes out with the all splashing and swimming action.
This is the perfect toy to amp up the tub fun and turn bath time into even more imaginative playtime.
We LOVVVVE this Barbie!!!
Pros: so much fun!, great for imaginative play
Cons: hair comes out pretty easily in the tub

Bath time fun with Barbie Rainbow Lights Mermaid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loved this Barbie. She's just getting into Barbie dolls and having one that she can't loose the clothes and accessories is great. It's an added bonus that she can take the doll in the bath tub and have her light up. This Barbie is perfect for my almost 4-year-old; she has so much fun making her "swim" around the room and interact with her other toys.

"Wow I love it"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These were the first words that came out of my daughter's mouth when we opened the box. My daughter is 3 and LOVES the little mermaid. So when she saw a mermaid barbie doll that she saw on TV she got so excited. She told me she saw it on tv and was so excited. When she was playing with it in the bath I asked her what her favorite part was and she said the light up tail that it was beautiful. This doll was a big hit for my kiddo bc she loves baths and mermaids and put them together and she was in heaven! The only thing I can't stand is the packaging. I hate the plastic that holds the heads to the box, it drives me nuts. But everything else was very positive.

Very Colorful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The doll is very colorful and appealing to the eyes. I like the fact the it changes to the different colors and can be played with in the water. I think it would be nice to also have a musical feature added and to make the fin moveable.
