Daughters love this doll

I bought this Barbie for my daughter's birthday . She is a beautiful ,colorful mermaid and lights up ! I was so excited for to open this present , she couldn't wait to get it open and in the water , she plays with this doll daily ,no joke . She has me turn the lights off when she is in the tub so I can watch the lights with her . She has different light modes and they are all fun to watch , her hair has a pretty pink streak and is pretty when she swims through the water . Very happy I purchased this doll , have had no issues with the lights at all .
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this as a gift for my daughter who loves mermaids and barbies and Im so glad i did!! She absolutely loves it! Shes plays with everyday. Its made of very adaptive plastic that is sturdy but easy to maneuver.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wonderful... in theory

My daughter is almost three, and this is the first Barbie she actively asked for. She is in love with it. She takes it in the bath and carries it around with her all the time. Unfortunately, within a week of buying it, the batteries stopped working. Replacement batteries are quite expensive for this doll. My daughter still likes it, but is quite upset that she doesn't light up anymore. I get that toys will need replacement batteries after a while, but a week? That's not appropriate for a kid's toy. And to add insult to injury, the batteries aren't "normal" and affordable batteries that we normally buy and keep around.

Stopped working on 2nd use in bathtub

My 5 year old got this Barbie for Christmas from Santa and was sooooo excited! It was a beautiful doll and the lights looked incredible, however the SECOND TIME she took a short bath with it it wouldn’t light up! I went online to make sure I was correct in thinking this was a water toy, and discovered that it is supposed to be, but unfortunately ours is not holding up in the water. We are disappointed ☹️

Love the doll, but not water tight

My daughter got this less than a month ago and after the first bath it stopped working. I am actually here on the site to check and make sure I didn't do anything wrong, and I am seeing the same issue with other folks. If your daughter loves this doll please don't put it into any water. She will quit working. :(

Stopped working after first time in bath.

I bought this toy for my 4 yr old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Unfortunately the lights stopped working during the first bath. I can not find replacement batteries where I live for under $45. Any suggestions where I can buy cheaper ones. Hoping it's just the batteries.
