Just received this and didn’t have to entertain my daughter for a very long time after :). She got busy with this adorable Barbie set straight away. It has so many details and features from the “ding” sound the oven makes, watching the cupcakes and cake rise in the oven, the water frosting for the cupcakes and of course Barbie in her adorable apron and oven mit, what’s there not to love?! We love baking as a family and now she was in charge. Provides great imaginative play.

My daughter was very excited to receive the Barbie doll and knew exactly what it was even though she doesn't have any others. She wanted to open the box immediately and find out what accessories it came with. She very quickly found out that the cakes rose in the oven and enjoyed playing kitchen role play with me and the doll. After about 40 minutes playing she wanted to watch Barbie on Netflix. Since then she has separated the doll from the kitchen things and either played with Barbie (building her a house with blocks) or played kitchen role play.
