I bought this for my granddaughter, who loves androids. I tried to persuade her to get an iPhone, but she’s loyal to the Galaxy model android because “it’s awesome!” I tried.
I just got this phone to replace my old one that dies. So far it has been very easy to use. It is more slippery than my old phone so I might decide to get a protective case.
I have always been a Samsung owner so when I upgraded to the S9 I quickly discovered that I no longer liked the Samsung. It was too small for my hands and I didn't like the curved glass. So I switched to the iphone 11. Not sure if that was a mistake or not?? I have had it for about 1 week and I am so frustrated with it. Hopefully I will get used to it?
Made the switch from iPhone and overall i love it. It's fast and intuitive. The switch was easy thanks to an app that Samsung has for this. A few things im not thrilled with: too much bloatware - many Samsung apps that are redundant to included (and better) google apps. The memory is half filled out of the box because of it. Notifications make the phone vibrate but dont tell me which app sent the notification. Apparently there is a third party app you have to download for this (all the integrated apps and none for this?). But there are other things that are easy on this phone that require outside apps on iphone (easy screen cast!). Plus facial recognition and other perks not available on iphone at this price point. So overall im happy.
