S9 Sucks Now

After a recent update the phone is completely trash. Why update a phone that is almost perfection, why update something is already good. S9 new update has my phone acting up in so many places, would be nice if we could uninstall phone updates and get the old versions back. Would not recommend if updated to newest form.

Wonderful Return To Android

After having my first child, I wanted a phone that was going to deliver quality photos at the drop of a hat. You never know when a moment you want to capture will come up. I was on an iPhone at the time and saw advertisements for the Galaxy S9. I pre-ordered and had the phone shortly after release date. It has been my daily driver ever since.
The phone does everything I need it to and more. It's fast, fluid, and the screen is unbeatable. Expandable storage makes sure I never run out of room and being able to charge my battery to almost full in a short amount of time is a killer feature. I can safely say I won't be returning to iOS after having seen what a smartphone should do.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am giving the Samsung Galaxy S9 this rating because there updates SUCK. They actually make the phone harder to operate. Whoever came up with the latest updates should be FIRED. Because of this I am switching to an I- Phone. Samsung use to be great but now is just a pain in the Butt.

Great upgrade from Galaxy s7

Better more stable camera, more screen space without losing size of Galaxy s7, using spigen case works beautifully, also loving the easy wireless charging and USB C cable no longer at night in the dark I have to struggle to connect my phone paid about 752 for the phone and was really easy to connect to Sprint.

Bixby still needs a bit more work but it is getting there
Glass Back should have been matte plastic or metal, glass makes me feel a small drop will break the phone
Rear scratches fast especially between the camera and finger print sensor
Dolby atmos when left on makes video you recorded sound awful by overdoing your microphone audio to force background noise to be louder
#Suggestions to Samsung if they really do read and respond
Dark theme for the phone made officially by Samsung would be nice
More Camera Options like Dual Camera front and rear used to be on s7 s5 and s4 bring that back I actually use that for videos
Bixby better control of Samsung music not Google play music
Option to remove 5min limit of 4k 60fps
Samsung pass needs more improvement

Amazing phone!

This phone is excellent, Its fast, it's thin, it's practical, and the camera and gaming performance is great. I came from an iPhone 6S, and this phone blew me away. The camera quality, how loud the speakers are. I only have a couple of complaints about this phone is the Bixby button, there are 3ed party apps that will alow you to reprogram it, but they are slow and sluggish. There are also phones out there witch better battery life. The S9 doesn't have bad battery life, but it doesn't have good battery life either, but it's ok, and it charges fast, so that's ok. Also, this phone is really sexy, and the vertral reality is great. I just wish Samsung and Google played well with each other.

Brilliant screen, design and customisation options. A superb user experience for around half the price of a comparable iPhone. Leaving Apple's walled garden is hugely liberating.

Gets worse with each upgrade

I have had this phone for almost two years. I have been a galaxy fan since the first one, however this will be my last. I hate that galaxy modifies the standard android version with their own tweaks, I hate that each upgrade resets the settings I have in place, I especially hate this last upgrade which makes every app I use drain the battery really fast and makes the phone super hot. I hate that each upgrade locates some settings in a different place than they were before. I do not like the new icons, I feel they look cartoonish. I also dislike the auto correct function because it substitutes words that make no sense when I have typed the correct word. I will keep the phone until it dies because it was expensive, but will not buy another.

Don't buy! So many issues with the phone

This is my first samsung phone and I am facing so many issues since I bought this phone. It doesn't catch LTE, superslowmo doesn't work (all black), battery issues, mic doesn't work with whatsapp and messenger. I wasted so much money on this phone. It's been 3 months and I already did factory reset like 3 times.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
