Bad charger port and screen that can have an issue

I had this phone for a while and it has been giving me problems since the beginning. Every time it updates something goes wrong. One update was pushed so I couldn't read my calendar, calculator, or settings. Another update was pushed out and my apps were completely erased. One time my phone woke me up at three in the morning saying that there was water in charging port even though it had been charging for six hours and has not been close to water. After the "water" dried the notification went away and I could charge my phone. A few weeks later it gave the same notification again even though it had not been anywhere near water. After doing research I found a way to disable the setting, but then once again a new update came out and the setting was permanently enable to notify and disable charging when there is water in my charging port. I've been doing research and using trixie to get said water out of my phone but it hasn't worked.I've been waiting for the opportunity to get it fixed. In the mean time I have been wirelessly charging my phone. A few days later the notification went away and I was able to charge my phone again, and then one day the charger port completely died. My screen also has a hard time registering my touch and sometimes registers my touch in places where I haven't touched. Usually this can be fixed by wiping my screen but sometimes this dosen't work.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought the Galaxy S9 as a suprise upgrade for my daughter. She's in love. Major upgrade for her Prime and S5.

Super Fast, sturdy beautiful screen and more

i switched from crAPPLE to samsung because crAPPLE slows down their phones over time and their charging cables fall apart in months. APPLE is so dying. This S9 though is super fast even after over 1 year of ownership, battery last about a day but charges in less than 1 hour to full. Screen is very sturdy, no need for protection unless you drop it like a hot potatoe. lots of customization unlike crAPPLE. love it

This is a good phone, the best I've ever had. I like pretty much everything about it ,except the battery life could be a little better sometimes.The camera is great.

Poor operating system

I had this phone close to a year now, and I find the system is hard to get around, to find different folders. I find it difficult to send emails with attachments, where you don't know if the email was sent. I have own Galaxies from 3 to 9 and I find that the quality is just not there on the screen to operating system. It's time for a change where I am going to the Apple phone.

Forced to use for my phone now

I got this phone unfortunately because my moto took a drink. Ever since I've been forced to use this Samsung I'm reminded about how much annoying bloatware is added, the phone can barely ever be picked up without turning the annoying bixby feature. Music players don't shut off when closed, and the bluetooth glitches so hard I normally have to switch it on and off multiple times to get it to work right with my car's stereo that it's a nightmare. Overall, I hate this thing and I would never recommend a samsung product again after this.

Battery hasn't even lasted a whole year!

My battery dies immediately after hitting 30%. Luckily I'm still under warranty so I can get a free replacement (hopefully), but I expect this battery will die in under a year as well. That means this phone will probably become useless in UNDER two years. I wish I could get a decent Android phone that lasts more than two years, but it looks like I'll need to buy an iPhone for that.
