This is a beautiful phone, much slimmer than my 7S and a little longer. Everything transferred from my old phone including my theme song. I love my new phone! It keeps a charge and charges in minutes.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Voice to Text & Visual VM Both suck

My S7 worked waaaay better at the voice to text option. The visual voicemail is not what it says. On S7 I could read the message, on this phone it just has a play button to listen to the VM. That is not visual, that is audible. All other features seem to work pretty well. The features I use the most, don't work well at all!!
I like it, a lot. I had an S8. Unfortunately, I cracked the glass early on, and had it repaired. My assumption is they didn’t “waterproof” it as well as the factory, so it was killed at a water park. The S9 is very similar to the S8, so easy to move to. The facial recognition seems smoother and more effective than the S8. I’ve only had it a week, so I’m not able to really compare a lot. The camera is supposed to be better, however, I was really pleased with the camera on the S8. My wife is an Apple fan, the pictures from my Samsung’s seem far superior to her iPhone 6S+, but that was true with the S8 and my previous droids. I know, she’s due for an update, too. But, the cameras just seem superior on droids. The software needed to be updated constantly for a couple days, I really hate that when it’s updating it keep popping back to the update screen, making it difficult to use the phone during updates. I’m disappointed in the maximum size memory card the S9 can take, but, the fact it can take one is a huge advantage over the iPhone, too. Obviously, I’m a droid fan.
