One of the best flagship phones on the market. The fingerprint sensor is placed well, the hardware is solid, has a 3.5mm headphone jack, expandable storage.... just a great device. No complaints

The Samsung S9, to be put simply and short, the Galaxy S9 is awesome, it reached all of my expectations, and the new camera is great. My rating: 10/10

Sms texting features/notification features

The SMS texting/notification features are NOT the same from my S6. We used to be able to designate a different notification sound for each contact like we can do for ringtones for incoming calls. But with the S9 plus we CANNOT do this anymore. Is this feature ever gonna come back, some say it's due to the Oreo OS?. PLEASE look into bringing this feature back Please!!!! I almost want to go back to using my S6 Edge again because that feature was well worth it!!!!

Upgraded from S5 mini, which had become slow and memory constrained by the latest apps. This S9 quadrupled my base memory and with a 400GB SD card (I used a 200GB), plenty of room for pictures, movies, etc. New features, but still familiar. Easy to transfer all apps and data from the old phone. The wireless charger is a good add on.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, Built-in speakers, memory rich
Cons: grabbing the edge without touching the screen

I've been buying Samsung phones since 2012 and I'm always very happy with them and so far the S9 lives up to my expectations. Instead of having to wait in the store while the sales person transfer anything you now are able to do it at home on your own time and the start up was very easy. I especially like the new feature of the edge so instead of having multiple screens for the apps I just have that 1 little sidebar that's hidden. I also like the ability now to leave my phone unlocked in "trusted" places which is nice when I'm home. My one complaint, and it seems small but that's a pretty big to me is you can't individualized text message alerts for people so I can't tell right away if it's my mom or my crazy ex boyfriend texting me. Please bring back this feature on the next update.
