I bought this JBL Bar5.1 19 months back and left side satellite speaker started giving red flash light as soon as I remove it from unit. Though service team checked it, could understand that the board has gone faulty though I was doubting the battery. This is a massive hit on my impression about the quality that JBL maintain in their previous products I had experienced. For the price, JBL is expected to maintain the minimum quality to continue the belief we have on the brand please. It bring a lot of disappointment for a hardcore JBL lover.

Had some issues at first, but now works great!

We've had this for about a year so far. When we were using the satellite speakers, there would be a bad crackling/breaks in the sound, which would make it basically pointless to use. We were thinking about calling customer service and initiating a return, but then we remember we never did the audio calibration. One night we finally did the calibration and it completely changed the game. No more crackling/cutting audio out. No more issues. The system works exactly as I imagined it now, and we love it!

broken down 3 times

It has already broken down 3 times. The first time the Subwoofer did not connect anymore, not even with the reset or connection procedures indicated. The technical service repaired it at no cost. The second time the SubWoofer no longer turned on; Tech support fixed it at cost. Now for the third time the Subwoofer DOES NOT CONNECT anymore, I already performed the Reset, the Pairing, and even the upgrade. Again it will go to technical support or to the trash.

Great Sound quality

I bought this soundbar about 2 weeks ago. We watched Elemental by Pixar and had the two floating speakers behind us. The sounds coming out of those were different than the sound coming through those was completely different than the sound coming put of the sound bar. It was really cool! Definitely recommend this product.

Great deal on sale, but sub is a problem

Sound quality and build quality is excellent. Looks nicer than most sound bars too. My only complaint which is a big deal to me, is the sub can only work with this sound bar. I can't use a different sub and I can't use the sub it came with for anything else. This is a real problem for me as the space I'm using needs a much smaller sub. Glad I got this on sale for half price, otherwise I would have returned it because I can't use the included sub for anything.
