Good watch but terrible app

Overall I am generally happy with the watch. We purchased one about a year ago and recently had to replace it when the touch screen stopped working; not an issue as it was still under warranty. My one critique of the watch is I wish it had better water resistance. My major issue is with the Gizmohub App. We started running into issues when trying to set up Caregivers. I did not upgrade the app to the current version (thankfully), but several other Caregivers did and now they can't sync to the watch. It's not useful if only I can use the app and the other Caregivers (including my wife) can't. Looking at other reviews this seems to be a major on-going issue and I have not seen any indication of it being resolved. If the app doesn't work, then basically you have an expensive brick! Will have to return the watch or junk it if this issue isn't resolved soon.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Slow app!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This app is so slow. Plus, my phone never rings when my daughter calls! How scary is that? We got this so that my daughter could always reach us but it never comes thru. I just get a notification in the app that I missed her call. What if it was an emergency!?!

Cheap product

Poor design

In order to send a text you must do it thru gizmo app not in messaging app on phone, really?
Step counter in activity that they are so proud of, can't reset steps daily. Just keeps adding them everyday. Only way to do it is to reset entire device daily!
Major flaws, will be returning it. Don't waste time or money!!!

LG please create APP for Windows Store

We bought this for my 10 year old child for Christmas and he was soooo thrilled. We are too. It looks like an apple watch if you set it to a certain theme. The only problem is I have a Windows phone (and love it!) but the GizmoHub app is not available on Windows. I need that app to be available on my phone. He can call but we cannot text each other and I cannot see his location without the app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Serious privacy problems

Cannot hang up when a call is received. This has been reported again and again. LG knows this and has not done anything to fix the bug. The app allows others to view GPS position of watch, as well as use device as a listening tool by setting it to auto-answer after 10 seconds. You have to decide if you want to permit the privacy violations in order for your child to send voice or text messages. The emoji's say dirty words, like HOORE rather than HOORAY (even the review site wouldn't allow this post with the correct spelling of the word as it flagged it as profanity!) and it isn't just one emoji with the issue. All in all, if you want to use it within a family and not in a split family/custody arrangement it is useful if highly monitored.

Horrible band

Can't reset steps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got this and overall it is exactly what we were looking for. The only thing we don't like is there is no way (that I have found) to reset the step counter. Thought it would reset every day but it doesn't. So that is really annoying.
