Great Little Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this two years ago--amazingly durable! We misplaced the Gizmo Gadget a year ago. I finally found it in my clothes dryer--it had been in the pocket of a hoodie that went thru the wash twice, then thru the dryer. I figured I had nothing to lose by charging the Gizmo, and much to my surprise it worked! After that our son was wearing the Gizmo while riding his scooter. He wrecked and cracked the screen of the Gizmo--yep, still works! Love the GPS.
Pros: Style/Design, Features/Settings, Performance, Quality, easy to use

Love the concept

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for my Son for his birthday. He is 11 and doesn't have a need yet of a full phone, so this concept is great. Only problem is the watchband is designed for much younger children. Why don't you have another size option available for the wrist band? Very disappointed as he was so excited to receive this.

Screen cracked after 4 weeks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and my 6 year old came home from daycare with a cracked screen. It looked like a little chip in the corner caused the entire screen to crack. I thought it would be much more durable for a child to wear and only after 4 weeks it's broken. No one repairs or replaces the screens on these. My only option is to buy another that could break in a few weeks again. They didn't offer any screen protector or advice when it was purchased. This is not durable enough for an active child.

Great for keeping in touch with my kids

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had two of these for my kids for about a year. They work great and I can easily keep in touch with my kids. We've had no issues with the bands or the screens cracking and my kids play rough. I would definitely recommend! I almost didn't but them because of some of the bad reviews but I am so glad I did.

Shortest battery life

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this phone several my years ago and it does not hold a charge longer than 1 hour. Quiet annoying, when my child goes out I cant keep track of her after 1 hr.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poorly made band

Just as with others, the clasp broke within 3 months of owning the watch. It frustrates me when a product is made for young children and is not made to be durable. The other issue I have is that the app lags quite a bit.

Wonderful!...but....

I tried turning off and rebooting but it hasn't changed. I'll review again after I hear back from Verizon. Up until today the Gadget has been awesome for my 3 kids (7, 10, 12) to use.

Great Product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has been wearing her gizmo pal for 2 years now. Everyday to school for 2 years. The band has never broken, neither has the screen. She is 7 years old, and plays hard. Only has a few scratches on the face. But works perfect. We have taught her to value her watch, and she hasn’t had a problem. It still works great! We will be upgrading to the gizmo gadget for Xmas!
