[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great idea. Needs improvement. My son’s watch automatically shuts off saying low battery. However the app is showing 40% battery life is still left. Either something is wrong with the app or something is wrong with the phone. I liked the old app much better. The new app update isn’t very user friendly and takes forever. My son complains that the band is not to comfortable. I thought it was just my son, until I read other parents reviews stating their kids complain of the same thing. I wish you could combine the Osmo task watch and this watch in one. It would be perfect for kids. My youngest son wears his osmo task watch on one hand and his LG gizmo pal on the other.

Perfect for my 10 year old and I can see so many applications for this for persons with disabilities too. Would love a couple more numbers, but really the safety of how it texts the caregiver through the app as well as storing the history. It doesn't get better!

Awesome Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did my research and bought this product almost a week ago and its pretty awesome. It does exactly what it says it can do. 10 numbers is a generous amount of numbers for us to have all his contacts in. The pre-set text messages can be edited to fit. We had minor issues with getting some of his text messages but after we deleted some of the previous ones we did not have a problem. My son is 9 years old who has type 1 diabetes. We wanted him to be able to reach us -even if he's in his room and is low and can't get out of bed he can press our name on his watch and call us. He doesn't have to hold a phone. This the perfect solution to a cell phone, plus it's not distracting. He wears his watch all day and doesn't even think about it until he needs it. Glad I found this product. It needs to be promoted more.

Practical device, not a toy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worth every penny. I had some issues about the Gizmohub app in which I left a review for Apple. However, for the phone itself, I have a huge request to LG.... Please, please, please add the ability for the GizmoGadget wearer to see the temperature and forecast for the day. My 9 year old daughter gets herself up every morning via alarm clock and gets herself on the bus. It would be greatly beneficial for her Gadget to show the weather so she knows how to dress for the day. I will change my rating to 5 stars if this is done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love almost everything about this watch, except that it is useless if you switch carriers. You are locked in with Verizon! One cannot switch the SIM card...
Pros: easy to use

Good watch, band is not great

My kids like the watch, but the band hurts their wrist. If I could get a different band I would be happy with the watch.

Disappointing Fitness Tracker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this watch for my daughter. She had already owned the Gizmo Pal 2 and loved it. One of the main reasons for wanting the Gizmo Gadget was that it would track her steps. Very disappointed that you can't reset the steps everyday without completely wiping the watch. I really hope that LG creates an update to fix this issue.

Great features

The watch is great & I love it, my son loves it, however, he has a large wrist and finding the large band is proving impossible. I may return it or sell it if I can't find him a band that fits. Very frustrating, that's why I rated it only 4 stars.
