[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using a surface pro 6 but was tired of the cheap keyboard. Moved over to the X1 Carbon and I haven't been happier since!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a Mac person, but needed a pc for certain things, like exe files. I did a lot of research and landed on the X1 Carbon. Why? Weight: I travel a lot and it is amazingly light! USB C: Everything is going that way and with my Mac products and Thunderbolt monitors, this was perfect. Power: This is a great machine that will do everything I need it to and then some. Very happy with it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this computer for my wife, after returning a similar but 5th Gen model. The 6th Gen machine seems to hit the perfect sweet spot for her uses, which include presentations to her undergraduate social science classes and operation of her own small business on the side. It's light and portable, has great battery life, a bright, high-definition touchscreen, a speedy processor and 256GB SSD, and enough memory to run multiple applications.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's see if I can keep this review as light as my new X1 Carbon: I'm going to love packing around this much power, speed & capacity in my backpack on my business trips. It seems to add no weight to my pack and no laptop I've owned thus far can do as much per pound. I'm thrilled! So far, not one glitch in performance as I load up & use my productivity software. Never seen them run so fast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing was pretty great right out of the box. I wish Lenovo's own software was better, but there are far worse out there. For the size, this system screams and the display is sharp and bright. Light too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box this laptop preformed well. Start up from sleep mode is only a second or 2 which I really like. I use it for QuickBooks and Microsoft Money along with typical internet use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The single greatest laptop I've ever held.
The X1 carbon is very premium feeling. The keyboard is fantastic, it has a tactile feel without being loud, (or hardly making any noise at all) making it perfect for a classroom environment. The laptop feels snappy and stays quiet under most circumstances (I purchased the lowest spec processor) The battery life is amazing, being able to handle five hours of video playback on one charge. The laptop is very light and easily one handable. I purchased the 1080p touch model and it is wonderfully sharp and pleasing to look at. The only problem with the panels color science is with tan and orange colors becoming more orange than they should be.
Overall a very solid laptop and I'm very pleased with mine.
