[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this brand new July 2018. It’s overrated. Slow, freezes up and crashes on a regular basis. I regret purchasing this laptop. My next will be an HP.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Windows was not properly installed on the laptop, creating a lag in mouse movement and other processes a couple minutes after startup. I will have to reset Windows, and I will send the computer back if this does not solve the problem.

-Lovely keyboard
-Still feels very quick despite 2 year old processor
-Very good, bright screen (2560x1440 500nit screen)
-Excellent battery life (12+ hours)
Cons:
-Alright speakers
-Touch sensor is very particular for signing in
-Lack of Windows Hello
Overall: Purchasing this device for just over $1000, I am extremely happy with my purchase. This is an excellent upgrade over my older Thinkpad x220, and for aspects of work and school this serves me well. I do not recommend if you intend on playing games.
