[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, the Thinkpad has been perfect. setup was quick, battery life is great and having a decent sized keyboard on such a small laptop is a life changer. Snappy even with a bunch of programs and tabs open it is exactly what I wanted.

Incredibly thin and light with solid build. Feels durable, and has the best keyboard amongst all ultrabooks. 2x thunderbolt 3 ports - perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second X1 Carbon. My old Laptop was X1 Carbon 3rd Gen. I have had this laptop for a little over two weeks now
Pros:
1. Battery last 9 hours with workflow of browsing, programming and
2. The thunderbolt charging combined with rapid charging means that I don't need to carry around the charger
3. I got the FHD screen w/ think shutter and that saves a lot of battery
4. Great customer service.
Cons:
1. The thunderbolt connection can only take 60W power input via a thunderbolt cable (even with 100W cable). You need the cahrger to get more
2. The lights on capslock, mute and microphone are white.
3. The thunderbolt port makes a humming noise if you connect it to USB-C monitor with a long cable
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with the purchase, solid build, high speed nvme SSD and great battery life. Heat is well contained for most of regular tasks, but can get hotter under heavy loads, however, runs silent.
