[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whether you use this laptop as a business or personal laptop it won't matter. The only reason you wouldn't make it your first choice as a personal laptop is the price. But if that is not an object and you demand a great laptop, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is the best choice. The only think I really find needed an improvement is the Fingerprint reader, it is very slow to recognize the print. My phone fingerprint reader works 10 times better. The only other think I would like to see was more options when selecting a touchpad monitor. Yes, I would recommend this laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every job that I’ve ever had has given me a Lenovo. When it came time to go to business school, I couldn’t think of a better experience with a laptop than what I’ve had all these years with Lenovo. This laptop is magnificent. It’s got all the little perks that make it feel ultra cool plus the power to perform all the major analytical work I have had to do.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a few days ago and laptop so far is the best one I have had so far!!! Would really recommend to someone that needs processing capabilities and travels a lot, as this laptop is very light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about the laptop works great *except* the HDMI port, which has caused me some problems. In particular, I'm sometimes able to connect an external monitor, and sometimes I'm not. It seems more or less random, and this is quite frustrating. Lenovo support directed me to install a firmware update to fix the problem. So far so good, but it's one of those problems which you can't prove is gone. I can only wait and hope for the best.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned multiple Lenovos prior to this one. When I received the X1 Carbon, I was happy to try it out. The audio was okay. My Yoga Pro that I had prior to this was better. For work purposes, audio is a big deal for me. After spending a great amount of time loading al my software on the laptop and using it for just a week, the audio stopped working. I called tech support and we tried to see what was wrong. They told me my sound board was out. I decided to return this laptop. Before returning it, I reset everything on the laptop to factory settings and the audio suddenly worked again. Too little, too late. I can’t take that chance when I rely on that audio for work. Returned it and purchased the Lenovo Yoga C930 and love it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so glad that I got ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 6 Laptop. It's been a few weeks since I got it and it's been great. The laptop is super light and efficient with the fingerprint login and even the pin login works perfectly for me, too.
