[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Thinkpad X1 for three weeks. So far it has been very dependable. The laptop is super lightweight yet feels sturdy. It has performed all the tasks I need for school very quickly. I like the amount and variety of ports on such a thin laptop. The design of the laptop isn't flashy or stunning which is something I prefer. I don't love the feel of the keyboard but I don't hate it either. It's a compromise I am willing to make given the other great features. Overall I am happy with the laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ThinkPad X1 Carbon is pretty awesome. I have not been disappointed with the features that prompted me to make this my computer of choice. The weight is great! I love that it is so light and easy to carry around. The battery life is outstanding. I have the confidence that I can go from meeting to meeting without the need of a recharge or to carry the charger until then end of the day. Great for productivity. The keyboard is very comfortable and reactive. Finally, the Core i7 vPro is fast!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My go-to work station. I use this at work, while traveling, and for home use. This machine is durable, responsive, and user friendly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quality laptop that will last a while.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The form factor on this laptop is lovely (especially compared to the six-year-old ThinkPad of mine that it replaced). I had very little trouble switching it over to Linux (Pop!_OS)- just had to disable secure boot and change the power settings to Linux mode. My only complaint so far (but I've only been using for it a day) is that it has been running pretty hot (and with the fan running hard) even while I'm not doing much work.
