[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As an academic I have to use the laptop at many locations, and the three major features that make it a greet tool are: 1. very quick, 2. battery is extra strong, 3. ultra light.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For long time I was avoiding purchasing w Windows Laptop. It was the time. I was looking for a thin profile yet powerful. I have very little to no complains so far. I recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A very powerful, light laptop with all the horsepower you'd need. My only nitpicks are: 1. the front edge is a bit sharp (compared to my son's Gen 7) and can be uncomfortable against the heel of my hand over time. 2. I thought I'd adjust to the messed-up Ctrl/Fn key arrangement and I haven't. I know there's a BIOS setting to swap them and I've tried it but want my key labels to match the functionality. 3. The Lenovo Vantage s/w is a bit persistently annoying (I don't want to set a schedule, for example but it notifies me about it on every restart.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Lenovo for more than 5 years now, and this is the third time I upgrade my ThinkPad X1 carbon to the newer generation! It is a very reliable performance, and had never had any problems during the 5 years. Never had to worry about any slowdown due to the size and complexity of the softwares we use. Just a perfect work laptop.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very light weight, slim and easy to carry laptop. Few minor comments that it doesn't have a "hook" like on the older version for locking/lifting the screen and that the keyboard is somewhat elevated, creating space under each button (where things like dust, etc. can easier accumulate).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this 14" laptop. It's super light, the i5 version is fast enough for most if not all work tasks. I would say the biggest advantage is the size and weight. Having the option to add 4G modem is outstanding feature as well and anytime you need extra storage, you can add a micro SD card for all your backups or slower access files.
A cons: the Fn (function) button is right next to the Ctrl button. This does make it confusing when doing Ctrl+C or any other operations with the Ctrl. I would have loved having the Fn button anywhere else but right next to the Ctrl.
