During the last few years I've used quite a few "top of the line" business laptops and each time I was more amazed by the performance i got.
At this point where more of my work is about spreadsheets, documents, correspondence and web applications, I came to value of Lenovo X1.
It is powerful as most of high spec laptops. Where it is a clear winner is the amazing keyboard, crispines of the screen, and some peripherals like intergrated microSD and a GSM modem and of course the weight and the battery performance.
This is the BEST laptop I have ever owned, and I’ve wasted a lot on others! As an IT person/programmer I can not recommend this laptop enough! Battery lasts for days, it’s speedy as heck, Ohhh so light, has every port you could ever want, and the way your fingers slip into the keys on the keyboard is magical. Beats out the last 3 Microsoft products I’ve owned hands down (surface book 2, surface book 3, and surface pro).
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am satisfied. Price was good. Specs were excellent. The build quality is excellent! Little to no flex in the screen, very rigid body. The keyboard is outstanding! Best keyboard on a laptop that I have ever tried. Runs quiet, and has good battery life so far. Great travel computer for remote workforce. Quick and powerful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great computer - super light and sleek! My only concern is that it can get heated pretty quickly and the fan will be working for a while to cool it down.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the X1 Carbon Gen 6 Thinkpad and absolutely love it. I am able run multiple high functioning programs for my engineering company. The laptop itself is lightweight and very easy to travel with!
This is an excellent product and will be sticking with the Thinkpad brands!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my ThinkPad X1 Carbon :-) it is extremely light weight. The keyboard backlight is off as a standard which saves battery life, but can easily be turned on with the Fn +space bar. It charges quickly and holds charge extremely well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: The weight is very light, very easy to carry or put in the bag. Battery cruise capability is also fine for continuous using 4-5 hours, but depends on the workload for CPU. It is perfectly adequate for routine daily work or multi tasks. Cons: The fingerprint scanning function responses relative slowly comparing to a mobile device. The heat dispersion is just so so, especially when using it on the lap.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop lives up to the hype. Great for work and play. Great screen and incredibly fast. The keyboard is excellent, as is the ThinkPad way. Battery life is very good, especially for such a thin and light machine. Great amount of ports too, again, especially for such a thin and light machine. This probably the best thin and light Windows laptop out there.
