[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my uni classes. I'm majoring in comp sci so I wanted something portable/light that i could access multiple things from and the carbon came up in alot of reviews. Yeah the speakers definitely suck on the 6th gen, and windows hello doesn't come with the HDR version of the WHQD display but its a great device and I would reccomend to anyone looking for light/fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The X1 Carbon is a truly superb laptop. It's build quality is phenomenal - it's sturdy and has very little keyboard and display flex. Since it's a ThinkPad, I expect top of the line reliability. In terms of performance, it handles any office task fine and even a bit of gaming. The fans cool the laptop down adequately too - never did I have a situation that overheated the X1 Carbon. The ThinkShutter is a great idea and I wish every laptop had this. It protects your privacy and is built right in - no need for tape over the camera. And perhaps my favorite feature of the ThinkPads in general is the keyboard. There is a lot of key travel and every press feels like pressing down on a mechanical keyboard. As a student, an amazing keyboard is an absolute godsend.
Overall, this is a great laptop for office use, or in my case, student use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a laptop that would support my photography and general business needs, I was considering a Dell XPS, but heard from a trusted source at a local, independent computer store that they preferred the build and reliability of Lenovo to Dell.
I went with Lenovo.
So far, I’ve been very happy with the mix of the X1’s fit and finish, its performance, and its portability.
Would recommend it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this labtop for just about a week now. I have always generally been a Mac user, but required a pc for work. I have been very impressed by the sleekness as well as the overall functionality. I wouldn’t think twice about purchasing this computer again
