[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have spent over a month with this laptop and love it. It is efficient for all my tasks, the keyboard is very solid, lightweight and durable. I don’t see any weak points other than the screen which still needs to develop to catch up with Apple.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop a couple weeks ago with pretty high expectations for the higher price tag... I am happy to say that so far the X1 has exceeded my expectations! The first thing I noticed was the keyboard, for a ultra thin laptop its amazing, great travel, and excellent for anyone typing anything longer than a google search. The next thing is the excellent screen and horsepower under the hood. Its super fast, has a great processor, and a excellent Wi-Fi receiver. IO is plentiful, and very well appointed for such a small form factor. The final thing I noticed after finishing up is the build quality, its excellent. Its surprisingly rigid, and very well put together. There's only one small gripe I have, and its the with the speakers. They aren't bad by any means, they just don't seem to have output I was expecting. But that's not a hard fix. In the end this is an exceptional powerhouse in a thin lightweight package with excellent battery life, and a very premium feel.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a long time Lenovo X1 user... I just replaced my three year old X1 with a new X1 Gen 6 and I couldn't be happier. I opted for the 500 nit display -- it's bright and sharp... and the colors are fantastic. I highly recommend the brighter display -- the difference in weight isn't significant, and you'll appreciate the brighter, crisper images and text. The Intel I7-8650U processor makes short work of complex spreadsheets and presentations. And if you travel like I do, you'll really appreciate its small size and rugged design.
