I bought the fully loaded 2018 Carbon X1.
Great 500 NIT Screen, Light Weight 2.5 lbs, Fast CPU i7 8650, Quiet Fan, Lots of Storage (1TB), Great Battery, lasts me all day.
My only complaints are 1). That it is a FINGER PRINT magnet. 2). Expensive
With Respect to: Finger Print. It actually really bothers me and I have to clean it once a day at least, otherwise the pad and where you rest your palms of your hand looks greasy. Very annoying.
But other than that a great machine,
I would recommend this to a friend!

This laptop was purchased for field tech service work. The battery easily lasts all day and the matte 1080 display is sunlight readable. Very lightweight machine for those that don’t work at a desk and carry it a lot. One thing I don’t like is the function and left control keys are reversed and it takes some getting used to.

powerful business laptop

This is really light, good for carry around. I love this laptop except one thing. the battery life is only half of what it’s stated. I am using an i5 motherboard for office apps only, no game, no video. The battery life is only last above 8hours, which is a little bit disappointed. But recharged is really fast.

The laptop is light and durable, but the battery does not last very long as expected. I'm a consultant, I use the laptop to write emails, browse internet, run spreadsheet and edit documents. The battery dies after about 5-6 hours of use. I thought the battery would last a bit longer.

I bought it a few weeks ago. It's solid, light to carry around and yet powerful and fast for my work and daily usage. I really like the keyboard and the battery life is pretty good. I am very happy with it. The only thing I'm very disappointed is the price. Just a few weeks, the price went lower than what I paid less. You are really taking your chance when you would get the best deal.
