[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop one month ago. Great performance, beautiful design, and pretty light. However, one downside of the laptop is it will become hot during charging.

I have been a Mac user for the past 5 years. I was apprehensive about switching back to windows. After doing some reviews, I bought a Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 6th Gen. I really like the hardware. The keyboard is amazing. The performance doesn't slow down while running multiple programs. One hiccup is that the fingerprint reader sometimes does not function at the first attempt.
So far, I haven't really noticed a major effort for adaptation to the windows user interface. Actually, I really like some windows aspects; they are more efficient for productivity.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m 3 weeks into owning my Lenovo 6th Gen X1 Carbon and I love this machine more each time I use it. Lenovo’s put out this machine that will handle 99% of what you throw at it. I use it as my work daily driver where I use it mostly the entire MS suit and it zips through everything very smoothly it’s yet fumbled. At home I do light video/photo editing and surfing the web and again very smooth. For me it is the total package, lightweight, sturdy, long lasting battery, my only criticism is the fingerprint scanner is spotty, but to be honest I never owned a laptop with one so it doesn’t matter to me. My matching had the i7, 512gb hd, 16gb ram, and touch screen, it is outstanding!

if you had to carry 7lb laptop and big engineering books in one bag you will appreciate the size and the ability of this laptop to perform light duty programming and still not take up space in your bag. This is my first lenova and I think the next one is definitely going to be an X1.

This was my first Lenovo and after having it for week testing out all the features it definitely won't be my last! I highly advise the HDR display, it's made watching my shows crisp and clearer than ever before. The fingerprint scanner is somewhat quick and very convenient. All in all, if you're in a market for a new high performance, sleek and light laptop then look no further.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The texture and material of this laptop is wonderful! Although, with same configuration, other laptop may have better price, this X1 carbon is still worth it because this is thinkpad!
