Awesome laptop, very portable and good battery life. The high-end screen and brightness is worth the extra cost for users with vision issues (like retired folk) or working in bright environments. Would rate five plus if I could figure out how to navigate between power states such as sleep and hibernation to escape the ominous black screen. Needs info on simple startup basics in the fancy box or online manual.

Worth the money. very lightweight and powerful. wish I could have gotten the IR cam without the 1440 screen.
Extremely lightweight, excellent ports, premium feel, beautiful screen. For the price though, would have expected fingerprint scanner ot be more reliable (essentially not functional, have to constantly relearn fingerprints). Also, runs quite hot on max performance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I loved everything about the laptop!!! The few complains I have are the surface is very easy to be dirty. The fingerprint reader is just not efficient. I had my first dent three days after its delivered. I don't remember hit it with anything. Other than that, everything is fantastic.
Great laptop and exceptional hardware. As always the build quality is impressive and the keyboard is responsive. The price is high but you just have to wait out for the right promotion.
This is a truly sleek laptop. The new keyboard compared to the Gen 2 is much better and having 3 mechanical buttons makes things much more efficient. It is fast, powerful and handles every application while keeping long battery-life.
The hesitation between this and the T480s is real though since that one can have discreet graphics but weighs in a 200g more. The only truly missing thing from the X1 Gen 6 is an SDXC card slot which the T480s has, so it's features vs weight and is a tough choice.
The X1 Gen 6 boots very quickly and is ready to use at a moment's notice1
it actually did. Dear Lenovo, please provide an option to be able to purchase ThinkPads without Windows OS preinstalled - extra 200 off the price would make this product much more competitive price wise. Thanks
