At first I was a little hesitant about changing from a mac to a Lenovo, but I couldn't be happier, since day one the performance has been amazing, and I can't stop looking at it. I love this laptop. It’s light as a feather and the feel of the keyboard is incdedible. Everyone who uses it wants one. My girlfriend has a Mac and it feels heavy compared to this. The macbook keyboard is flat and weird too. Thinkpad has such a great feel to the keyboard. Can’t stress this enough. Also recently got acquainted with the red thinkpoint in the middle. And changer. Love it.

Best laptop I've ever owned. We fully customized it and it was worth every penny. Having the touch screen definitely comes in handy. I have the docking station along with it and it works better than expected. I recommend getting the docking station if you are in need of more USB/HDMI outlets. If you use it for work purposes, I recommend pairing your phone to your laptop. I always forget to lock my screen when I leave my desk, but I never forget my cell phone. Pairing your phone will allow it to lock itself when it notices that your phone is no longer synced. So many cool features with this machine.

The keys feel amazing too. Also, if you want something a little larger than a 13" and a 15" is too big, then this is a perfect in betweener.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always appreciated the design of the X1 and it certainly deserves its high price tag. The features, performance, size, and weight are all perfect. However, there is one crucial flaw that I was not aware of from any review I've come across. The materials used in the Trackpad are seemingly a magnet for scuffs. When I say that, if you are the type of person who has dry hands then your fingers will leave behind a trail after every use. I spend a ton of time just cleaning the trackpad. I would have preferred they used a different material.
Other than this one design choice, there really isn't a better laptop on the market. 14" is truly the best size around.
