[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this computer about a month ago and I'm thrilled with it. The keyboard is wonderful the touchpad is good although I don't particularly like touch pads. The screen is great the colors are wonderful. I bought the i7 model and it runs circles around my HP i7 laptop. Battery life is very good whereas the HP I'm lucky if I get 3 hours from a charge. The computer is light to carry and feels like it's very durable.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laptop literally exceeded every one of my expectations! The keystrokes feel amazing. It handles beautifully and has the fastest cpu I have ever used. As a college student, I needed a durable laptop with a lot of storage capacity...thinkpad gen6 filled and exceeded that void. Thanks Lenovo!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The laptop is quite light in weight, easy to carry everywhere. Processing speed is lightning, never use an ultrabook like this one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The HDR screen is great, the battery life is great and the keyboard is good (though the space key is noticeably mushier than the other keys).
The speakers are, without qualification, absolutely terrible. There is really no excuse for the speakers being this bad.
The BIOS and Linux support also leaves a lot to be desired. The WWAN card absolutely cannot be used in Linux - something between the BIOS setting (where the card starts in PCIe mode) and the Linux drivers is missing. As a result, the card is not recognized as a modem.
The BIOS whitelist is what really takes the cake. The fact that the BIOS will refuse to boot if you use any card that isn't the included Lenovo-branded Fibocom card makes it unacceptable to not have Linux support for the included card.
5/5 for the screen and general performance, down to 3/5 for the absolutely trash speakers, down to 1/5 for the non-functional WWAN in Linux combined with the BIOS whitelist.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
