[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After months of deliberation I finally decided to commit the X1 as my ultra light productivity workhorse. The machine is simple impressive, beautiful, and powerful. Can;t go wrong with this one. I thought I would hate the glossy screen but I can live with it with zero problems. Give it a shot, you won;t be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this one month ago and I am satisfied with the features it has. Good design, good speed for this price level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am consistently impressed with Lenovo's Ubuntu Linux compatibility (I installed the OS myself; the X1 ships with Windows) -- I have a fast, powerful machine that works out of the box with zero tweaking and fiddling. I am a longtime Lenovo X series fan -- this is my second X1 and is everything I've come to expect from Lenovo in a laptop.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Thinkpad x1 with SSD turned out to be amazingly quiet. Not a click whir or anything. Light as a feather, and faster than my internet connection. at 3 lbs it's lighter than my old tablet and more powerful than any of my desktops. Look for a friends and family sale to save some money but even at list price it's a buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After about two months of using this laptop I am glad that I chose this computer. The computer is light and easy to carry around, and it does not seem to sacrifice anything in terms of build quality or durability for that lightness. I get consistent long battery life while doing daily tasks and the quick charge capablity is an excellent feature for when you dont have a lot of time to charge your laptop (airport layovers, between classes, etc.). The performance is also great even with the base model specs. The only complaint that I have is that it is a fingerprint magnet which is a bit annoying.
