I got this computer as a gift before starting law school. It’s super light which is just what I needed when having to lug around huge law books. It’s quick, clear and just what I needed and then some! I’ve had mother but Apple products until now. I don’t regret the switch!

A business laptop filled with gaming bloatware?

Excellent design and performance. It's everything I expected.
The only downside is that it comes with gaming/entertainment bloatware that you can't easily remove. It took me many hours of research and a full factory reset to finally clean it up. I didn't expect this in a laptop designed for business use.

Recently bought X1 Carbon with HDR display for work. I was also considering Microsoft Surface Book 2. In the end, more variety ports outweighed tablet function. I'm glad I made the right choice. Two small cons: 1) HDR screen does glare against sunlight, 2) wish Ctrl and Fn buttons were switched around as I'm used to Ctrl button being on the outside on normal desktop keyboards. Other than that, I like everything else about it.

I picked this laptop a few days ago from Costco. I settled on this one after hours of research, comparing different laptops that are on the market today. My top choices were HP Spectre360, Lenovo Thinkpad x1 carbon, and Dell xps13. I wanted something light, fast, and has long battery life. I decided to give this one a chance based on reviews and its build quality. I'm very pleased with my choice so far- it meets all my requirements- and I also really like how it looks (especially the red dot that lights up when it's on). Highly recommend this laptop!

The screen quality is amazing. You can't go back to other computers after how crisp and clear documents/applications are. It really feels like you are getting the best possible experience possible from windows and windows applications. The computer runs as you would expect, and it's weight is incredible. Lenovo did not sacrifice useful usb c, hdmi, or sd slots. If you are a professional who travels this is the best laptop bar none. Incredible.
