[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought Lenovo laptops for many years; T61, X301, T431, and W541. This is the latest addition to my "collection" and by far the best one yet. I think it has the best combination of size, weight, and features in a laptop to carry around (vs. stay on the desk). The glossy screen is really a knockout, and the terabyte drive holds everything I have and likely will ever have to store. The 8th generation Intel I-7 is very fast and programs start crisply. The best part is this: The price. A long time ago PC Magazine ran an article where the author said that the computer you REALLY want is always 3,000 dollars. I have paid that for some machines in the past, but this one was less than 2,000 dollars. I can't think of any negatives to try to balance this review with. I can't think of any. So far it is performing better than I had any expectation that it would.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Lenovo laptops. They never really let you down. Though this one is pricey it's worth the money if you are a business person and need something fast and reliable. It has everything. You can customize your laptop anyway you want. Love the touch screen and fingerprint sign in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice and lightweight laptop, but the touchpad is a little 'touchy.' The touchpad sensitivity is taking some getting used to from upgrading from my T420. Only had it about a month, but it is working well so far.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm very happy with my new ThinkPad X1 Carbon. This is my first laptop -- my old computer was a "tower" I had on the floor. It's amazing how thin and lightweight the X1 Carbon is, It's also pretty comfortable to use. I was concerned with the smaller size of the keyboard, compared to my old computer, which had a "full size" keyboard. But I got used to it quickly, my hands don't feel constrained and the keys are much faster than on my old keyboard. The X1 Carbon also looks great -- very sleek.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great machine after 1 month of use. There have been reports of quality control issues but I have not experienced any of those. Sound is still poor quality as with all previous iterations of Thinkpads so don't expect much. Screen is much improved however.
